Hi Desarae, thank you for reading my story! My intention was, to recreate for the reader, what anxiety feels like for someone in the midst of an anxiety attack.

I know this monster very well and it’s a beast. I had apprehension reading the poem because of my intimate relationship with anxiety. However, you captured it in a beautiful way.
