Barefoot Grounding
An acrostic journey back to the Goddess
Baring our souls,
Asking Gaia’s forgiveness for our
Rudimentary, human selves; pleading for
Enlightenment. Yearning to
Follow our hearts,
Our souls.
Our true selves aspiring
To worship in the Goddess’ circle.
Grass, silky and fragrant, between our toes.
Robins chasing worms,
Oaks and maples swaying
Under an orange and red sunrise.
Never questioning.
Dedicated to growth, open to
Influential guidance.
Nudging, inch by inch, towards the
Goddess’ open arms.
Beautifully simple. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, it truly was my pleasure. This reminds me to take a moment every day to keep myself grounded.
Nice to see an acrostic. Love your creativity and the comforting atmosphere.
Thank you, Eliza. I do, too. Acrostic poems are one of my faves.
