A relationship is a mutual commitment of love and respect, which does not depend on measurements of the feedback. If it was just an equal give and take thing, a mother wouldn’t be hurting over her unborn child, parents wouldn’t be worried about kids that hurt them. People wouldn’t cry over lost love. But they do. Because what they had was a relationship, where the love they have for others is more than what they expect to get back.
Because it is not about our comfort. It is not about what could be beneficial for us in the future. A relationship is not a consumer transaction, where you give back for the worth of what you get. And if you think that’s what a relationship is, I’m sorry but you’ve never had a genuine one.Recommend0 Simily SnapsPublished in
