They Bypass Our Over - Thinking Brains And Aim Straight For Our Sensitive Hearts

When you’re listening to a religious sermon, oftentimes it’s the soul-stirring music before, during and after, that has the greatest impact on your heart, making the difficult life decisions the minister, priest or preacher just talked about, easier to consider and move towards - The music bypasses the brain and goes straight to the heart.

All of the arts, even those yet to be fully defined, have that same, in-sync quality about them; enabling them to easily reach past our intellect and speak to the complexities within each of our hearts.

The arts are the life-blood and proof of our existence. It’s what we leave behind of ourselves - the best of us - second only to our offspring and life legacies.

The arts are alive with emotion, compassion and meaning. They mirror and record all of our experiences from millions of perspectives. In their various and continually evolving forms, the arts have long been with us, and will continue to be with us in some form, long after.

They communicate who we are, who we want to be, along with the frustration and often agonizing pangs of failure of not always reaching our intended goals.

Each expressive art field carries it’s own powerhouse of living inspiration, having powerful effects on all who are drawn to each creative work.

If we lose our way, forget where we’ve been, the lessons we’ve learned, the mistakes we’ve made, or where we’re supposed to be going; we can look to the particular arts that we resonate with like a lighthouse or guide to put us back on the right path.

Art in any form— is a guiding light for someone. It’s in perfect sync with the frequency and rhythms of our hearts. If we’re broken or out of sync, the arts; whichever form speaks to us is able to put us back in proper balance.
