The word cannot be spoken

Without implying

Its implications.

You cannot hate the machine

And not hate its component

Parts.

You cannot hate the key

And love the lock,

Hate time

And love the clock,

Be careful

Without taking stock,

Love me truly

And leave me here to rot.
