I think that to self-publish and be successful, you usually need to build your audience first, which is hard work, but you are in the right spot! You should also check out foundinmyjournal.com (the Medium pub I edit for). We are in the process of branching out as a publication to include e-publishing and traditional print publishing. We consider ourselves an author’s collective and want to publish anthologies etc. from our writers (and of course share royalties). Oh and I write a lot of Sci-Fi and Dystopian. I haven’t shared much of it here yet, but I will be doing that soon!
