A bit about me. I have worked as a master’s level medical social worker for the past, almost 30 years. I continue my work as a social worker to pay the bills, however, my heart and soul want to do something different; so, in my free time I am a writer, poet and advocate for social justice.

 My poetry is about life, the past, present and future. I write about the human condition, relationships, grief and loss, emotions, hopes, desires, failures, triumphs. My work is often described as “raw” and “full of emotion.”

 I love my family and my furry friends. I enjoy cooking and nature, fishing, and camping, and I also enjoy writing about these things.
