A native of Boulder, Colorado, I landed in Utah more than twenty years ago, via rural Idaho, western Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, and upstate New York.

Along the way I attended Snake River High School, Brigham Young University, Cornell University, and the Pushkin Russian Language Institute in Moscow, Russia (then USSR). I taught Russian language and literature and English composition at BYU, Cornell, and Utah Career College before turning to software development and thence to digital marketing.

I write mostly contemporary, realistic fiction, long and short, when I’m not working at the day job.
