Hi there Simily community!

My name is Brittney, I have been active on Medium for a little over six months now, which is how I came to hear about Simily.  I have always enjoyed writing as a creative outlet, but have recently been prioritizing it as a form of self-expression, and as a means to find my voice and explore different genres.  This platform seems to encompass the best of both worlds!

My account name is Lost on Purpose. I decided to keep it the same as my Medium page (if you’re curious, learn more here). I’m using it as a way to purposefully “get lost,” or experiment, with trying different subjects, formats, etc.

For the time being, I’ve been using Medium to post about recent life events that are important to me, and am also trying to dabble in tech related subject matter.  I am interested in trying my hand at fiction and humor in the near future as well.  Whatever I end up writing, I try not to take myself too seriously, so I welcome suggestions and constructive feedback from anyone willing to give it 😉
